MOTAC reopens application for financial aid 2022

Starting from Monday (4th April) until 15th April, the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture (MOTAC) is reopening the application for its financial aid 2022 to tourism operators who missed the chance to apply before.

从周一（4月4日）到4月15日，旅游，艺术和文化部（MOTAC）将重新向错过之前申请机会的旅游经营者申请2022年的财政援助。

In a statement, the ministry said feedback revealed that there were many tourism operators who missed the opportunity to apply for the aid when the application was first opened from 1st March to 15th March.

该部在一份声明中表示，反馈显示，有许多旅游经营者在3月1日至15日首次开放申请时错过了申请援助的机会。

The government, through Budget 2022, announced the special cash aid to over 20,000 tourism operators, including travel agents (TOBTAB) and Malaysia My Second Home (MM2H), as well as spa and foot massage centre operators registered under MOTAC, involving an allocation of RM85 million.

政府通过2022年财政预算案，宣布向20,000多家旅游经营者提供特别现金援助，包括旅行社（TOBTAB）和马来西亚我的第二家园（MM2H），以及根据MOTAC注册的水疗和足部按摩中心运营商，涉及8500万令吉的拨款。

Hence, MOTAC called on all eligible TOBTAB, MM2H, spa and foot massage centre operators to take this opportunity to apply for the aid online.

因此，MOTAC呼吁所有符合条件的TOBTAB，MM2H，水疗和足部按摩中心运营商借此机会在线申请援助。

“Applications made after the deadline of 15th April, 2022 will not be entertained,” it said.
