KOTA BARU: With floodwaters receding, only 66 flood victims are still taking shelter at flood relief centres (PPS) in Kelantan as of 8am today.

The evacuees, from 20 families, are being housed at Sekolah Kebangsaan (SK) Bakong in Pasir Mas; and SK Pengkalan Kubor 2 in Tumpat.

Meanwhile, all major rivers in the state have returned to their normal levels, with the exception of Sungai Golok, which has dropped to 7.75 metres (0.75 metre above its alert level), the publicinfobanjir.water.gov.my portal showed.

All roads in the state are open to all vehicles.

This year’s northeast monsoon in Kelantan claimed three lives and displaced over 13,000 people at its peak earlier this month.
