CCCC Malaysia Sabah Container Terminal Expansion Project Master Contract and ICP Agreement signed
The signing ceremony of the main contract and ICP agreement of China Communications Construction Company Ltd. (“CCCC”) Malaysia Container Terminal Expansion Project was held at the Magellan Hotel Sabah on 4 March, and the signing of the main contract and the industrial cooperation plan agreement of the project was successfully completed. The Signing Ceremony was attended by the Deputy Minister of Finance of Sabah, senior director of TDA project operations, CEO of Sabah economic development executive board (SEDIA), and representatives of CCCC and partners.
3月4日，中国交建马来西亚沙巴集装箱码头扩建项目主合同和ICP协议签约仪式在沙巴麦哲伦酒店举行，顺利完成了项目主合同和工业合作计划协议的签署。马来西亚沙巴财政部副部长、TDA项目运营高级总监、沙巴经济发展执行局（SEDIA）首席执行官、中国交建及合作方代表共同出席了本次签约仪式。
The Industrial Co-operation Scheme (ICP) is one of the contractual obligations of international contractors to participate in government-financed projects in Malaysia, aimed at upgrading local industrial development and nurturing local technical capabilities, and is overseen and managed by the TDA under the Ministry of Finance of Malaysia. At the signing ceremony, the Deputy Minister of Finance of Sabah of Malaysia said that the signing of the Industrial Cooperation Scheme can effectively promote Sabah's economic recovery and future development after the epidemic, and plays an important role in SEDIA, Sabah Engineering Authority, Sabah Port and Sabah University. At the same time, he said that CCCC has undertaken many large-scale infrastructure projects in Malaysia, cultivated a large number of localization talents, and made efforts for Malaysia's infrastructure construction and economic development, hoping that CCCC can make full use of the Sabah container terminal expansion project to make more contributions to the economic development of The Sabah region.
工业合作计划（ICP）是国际承包商参与马来西亚政府财政出资工程项目的合同义务之一，旨在提升当地工业发展水平、培育当地技术能力，由马来西亚财政部下辖的TDA负责监督管理。马来西亚沙巴财政部副部长在签约仪式上表示工业合作计划的签署能够有效促进沙巴疫情后经济复苏和未来发展，对SEDIA、沙巴工程局、沙巴港及沙巴大学有着重要的作用。同时，他表示中国交建在马来西亚承建了很多大型基建项目，培养了一大批属地化人才，为马来西亚基础建设和经济发展做出了努力，希望中国交建能够充分利用沙巴集装箱码头扩建项目为沙巴地区经济发展做出更多的贡献。
此项协议的签订，充分体现了马来西亚财政部对中国交建业绩能力、业务发展以及综合能力的高度认可和信任，有利于公司拓展马来西亚沙巴及周边市场，有助于中国交建在马来西亚的持续深耕，对进一步提升“中国交建”品牌形象有着重要作用。
