MAYCHAM Shanghai Chapter Social Responsibility
About MSSR
MAYCHAM Shanghai Chapter Social Responsibility refers to the channel to implement social responsibility of Malaysian Chamber of Commerce and Industry in China, towards chambers of commerce, enterprises and organizations, and undertake to protect the environment, preserve the nature, help the poor and develop a charitable responsibility, while collaborating with partners, suppliers and sponsors.

MSSR Purposes
MAYCHAM Shanghai Chapter Social Responsibility is to provide a channel to those chambers of commerce, enterprises and organizations to develop charitable undertakings. In the long run, the Chamber is fully committed to help the poor and develop charity responsibility on the cost effective and daily operation basis.
How to commit with MSSR
MAYCHAM Shanghai Chapter Social Responsibility will be looking for eco-friendly products, and deliver them at the same market prices, from which the profit derived will be donated to those in need. We choose Laoding Studio of Shanghai Morning Post as the only partner, in which fully entrust of their choice of targeted beneficiaries, and be fair, reasonable and lawful in helping the poor. We encourage all individual and corporate members of MAYCHAM Shanghai Chapter to provide us the products and suggestions and help more people in need.

Past Charity Activities Conducted in 2009:

On 12 April 2009, we held “ one world, one planet, one life” Golf tournament which jointly organized by MAYCHAM Shanghai Chapter and Shanghai Real Estate Golf Club with sponsorship from Harimau Corporation, Bank of China Tower, Bankers Club, Health Star, Trane Air Conditioners, Svensson Health Development Center, Tokushinkai Dental, Hertz International Car Rental, Star Cruises, SH-Holiday, Tumasek Pewter and others. Charity fund raising activities always has been carried forward by the humanitarian spirit and the Chinese traditional virtue to help those who are in need. Through everyone generosity on that day, we have raised total donations of RMB13, 000 and all donation been donated to Laoding Studio. Hereby, we want to thanks again to all sponsors on that day.

Past Charity Activities Participated in 2009:
On 5 June 2009, Consular Spouses Shanghai Charity Dinner received full supports from all Consulate-Generals in Shanghai. MAYCHAM Shanghai Chapter was invited to attend the dinner and donated RMB10, 000.
In the event of incomplete information on MAYCHAM Shanghai Chapter Social Responsibility as listed above, we will keep improving and make better commitments thereto.

MAYCHAM Shanghai 2010 Charity Auction Dinner

Malaysia Chamber of Commerce and Industry in China, Shanghai Chapter (MAYCHAM) will present you the grand annual event - MAYCHAM Shanghai 2010 Charity Auction Dinner at Renaissance Hotel Zhongshan Park Shanghai on 16 January 2010 (Saturday).

For the charity auction session during the dinner time, we will present you many precious and rare items for your bidding ! All the funds collected during the Auction will be donated to Zhejiang Pan'an Huzhai County Central Primary School through the charity studio of Shanghai Morning Post.
